I am sitting on my lunch break at a Spar Shop, on Dame St, in Dublin. My apologies for the absence of posts since I have arrived. Believe it or not, I have begun to write many times. I never have seemed to find the inspiration and the drive to keep this blog up. Don't get me wrong, I have been loving my time here. I have taken many photos and I have been exploring daily. I have found more joy in viewing many sights as Varya the person, rather than Varya the photographer.
Hopefully that makes some sort of sense, it has been making more and more sense to me.
I can't believe I only have 18 days left here. For my 21st birthday I went to The Bleeding Horse (http://bleedinghorse.ie/) for dinner and a few drinks. Last weekend I visited Inis Mor, one of the Aran Islands, and spent a little bit of time in Limerick. This week I hope to catch up on sleep and plan for next weekend in Edinburgh, and then the following in London.
This Thursday is the 4th of July and believe it or not, everyone here celebrates it...and in some cases with more enthusiasm then most Americans! They don't take the day off for it but they are certainly very conscious of the holiday.
Seeing as my battery is low on my laptop and I have to get heading back to work, I will hereby promise to update you all more later.
Thank you for all your love and support.
Cheers!
